Content: The speaker will share his experience in the applications of the “Yellow Book” for managing the safety aspects of railway projects. The “Yellow Book” itself is not a national or international standard, nor is it a regulation or rule. However, it is widely adopted in the UK and some of the European railway industries for managing the safety aspects of railway projects. In the UK, in fact, it would be hard to produce a convincing case to justify that a railway project was safely managed if the project was not executed in line with the principles given in the “Yellow Book”.
Remarks: No attendance certificate will be issued to those who arrived after 7:15pm. Certificate (without chop) will be distributed to IOSH members during registration. IOSH branch helpers will stamp participants’ certificates after the seminar. Certificate is invalid without the chop.
