Speaker: Mr. S.K. Lam is currently the Director of University Safety and Environment Office, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He possesses a B.Sc. in biochemistry and a M.Sc. in Occupational Hygiene acquired from the University of London. Specializing in chemical and biological hazard management, Mr. Lam has over 25 years of experience in occupational hygiene practices at government and private sectors, both locally and overseas. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) of ABIH and a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene.

Content: At the seminar, the Speaker will discuss current trends of chemical risk assessments and the changes for facilitating widespread adoption of the practices. Topics include: 1. Current chemical risk assessment methods 2. Resistance / obstacles of the practices 3. The need of assessments 4. The ways ahead
Remarks: No attendance certificates will be issued to those who arrived at or after 7:15pm. Certificates without stamp will be distributed to IOSH members during registration. IOSH Branch helpers will validate the certificates by stamping after the seminar. Certificate without stamp is invalid.
