Speaker: Sammy Au is an Independent Practicing Arborist & the first Certified Arborist & the first Certified Tree Worker (Climber Specialist) of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA, www.isa-arbor.com) in the Great China Region. He is the founder of ISA HK/China [International Society of Arboricultural, Hong Kong] (http://isahkchina.blogspot.com) and TCHK [Tree Climbing Hong Kong] (http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/treeclimbinghk). He is now the President of these two societies. Sammy is a seasoned expert witness in court for tree disputes, a qualified assessor on old & valuable trees (OVT), a regular trainer on tree works supervision for CICTA & the government and a tree expert for answering to mass media. He was a speaker at the National Parks Board of the Singapore Government

CPD: CPD Certificate of 1.5 hours will be issued to participants upon completion of the seminar.
Content: The Seminar will focus on the safety & health aspects of various Arboricultural Operations such as tree removal and tree pruning. Particular safety aspects will be discussed on tree climbing and chainsaw use, especially the chainsaw operation which frequently incurs accident but without specific regulation for governing thus far. The speaker will answer questions and share views on tree work and tree management on construction sites and housing estates at the seminar.
Remarks: No attendance certificate will be issued to those who arrived at after 7:15pm. Certificates without stamp will be distributed to IOSH members during registration. IOSH Branch helpers will validate the certificates by stamping after the seminar. Certificate without stamp is invalid.
