Content: Musculoskeletal disorders and back injuries have long been recognized as serious health and safety risks at the workplaces. Many countries and places, including Hong Kong, have enacted legal requirements on the relevant risk assessments on manual handling. If an inappropriate approach is chosen, the risk assessment could only result in a time-consuming paper exercise and could not enjoy merits from the assessment tool chosen. This seminar will discuss the merits of the various assessment tools and on how they can be adopted successfully at the workplaces.
