Content: The World Health Organization has declared possible threat on the second wave of human swine influenza which may lead to a global pandemic. In Hong Kong, the Emergency Response Level under the Government's Preparedness Plan for Influenza Pandemic has been activated since 1 May 2009. This seminar will provide latest information on nature and symptoms of the virus, as well as from the perspective of safety and health, what precautionary measures can avoid the contact of the wide spreading virus at workplaces.
Remarks: To prevent the spreading of Influenza infection, we request participants who have influenza-like symptoms, e.g. fever, cough and runny nose, to release himself / herself from attending the seminar. Alternatively, he/she should put on a face mask throughout his/her stay at the seminar Please provide us your contracts (phone number or email) at time of on-line registration. We will notify you as soon as possible should any case of Human H1N1 Influenza at the seminar is confirmed.
