Content: Mr Ferguson will present an overview of the UK Railway Regulatory Regime, including the Office of Rail Regulation’s strategy and how we are encouraging continuous improvement in railway safety. He will outline some current issues in different sectors of the industry, including construction, railway operations and customer safety. He will also outline the new, outcome based approach to regulating management arrangements and encourage the achievement of excellence by duty holders. Mr Ferguson is also happy to take questions on the UK Safety environment. Mr Ferguson may be accompanied by Mr David Morris, the recently retired Deputy Chief Inspector and Chair of NEBOSH.
Remarks: No attendance certificates will be issued to those who arrived at or after 7:15pm. Certificates without stamp will be distributed to IOSH members during registration. The helpers of IOSH Branch will validate the certificates by stamping them after the seminar. Only certificates with our stamp are considered as valid CPD certificates.
