|CPD:||A CPD Certificate of 1.5 hours will be issued to participants who have completed the entire duration of the seminar. The participants shall collect their own attendance certificate (with pre-printed name but without the Institution’s stamp) during registration. Upon completion of the seminar, at 8:30 p.m. or later, the participants shall proceed to the reception counter for receiving a stamp on the certificate. Only certificates with the Institution’s stamp are considered as valid CPD certificates.|
|Content:||In this branch evening seminar, Mr. Yeung will introduce the tower crane safety devices and functions starting from the basic principles and manufacturers’ design. Meanwhile, the maintenance requirements of users and operators will then been explained. Site monitoring and safety precautions of operation (e.g. erection, telescoping and dismantling) will also bee highlighted in the talk. The speaker will share the existing practices of safe use of tower crane in Hong Kong and the additional monitoring devices available in the market for safe lifting.|
|Remarks:||To prevent the spreading of influenza, any participant who has symptom(s) of flu, e.g. fever, cough and runny nose, etc, is not recommended to attend the seminar, or he / she is advised to put on a face mask throughout his / her stay at the seminar.
