Content: To encourage undergraduate students of the IOSH accredited programmes to conduct and present outstanding final year projects in the field of occupational safety and health, IOSH (HK) is hosting the subject Competition for the IOSH accredited undergraduate studies. After the assessment of student papers by a specially convened judging panel, the awards will be bestowed in the presentation ceremony. Two students will be arranged to present their first place award papers during the event. Meanwhile, Dr. Alan Chan of City University of Hong Kong and Dr. Andy Cheng of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University are invited as our honourable speakers to deliver the recent health and safety researches in the areas of their specialities. The event also provides a forum for the members, students and researchers to discuss and explore health and safety research studies in Hong Kong.
Remarks: To prevent the spreading of influenza, any participant who has symptom(s) of flu, e.g. fever, cough and runny nose, etc, is not recommended to attend the seminar, or he / she is advised to put on a face mask throughout his / her stay at the seminar.
