The IOSH logo
Our logo is an important part of our identity, and we
carefully control how it's used. We need to make sure that the logo
is reproduced only in the right context as well as in the right
format and style, whatever the medium.
The IOSH logo, the IOSH acronym and other elements of our
corporate identity are trademarked and protected under copyright
law.
Who can use the IOSH logo?
Partners
For example:
- Collaborators in a project we're formally involved in
- Organisers of events that we're sponsoring or are officially
associated with
- Approved trainers
Who can't use the IOSH logo?
Individual members
The logo represents IOSH as a corporate body, regulated by a
formal governance structure and incorporated by Royal Charter. It's
therefore not appropriate for members to use the logo on an
individual basis.
Members shouldn't use the logo on stationery (including business
cards), websites or other business and communication materials.
Members are, however, encouraged to use their post-nominal letters
and state their full IOSH membership category where relevant.
People who have been on an IOSH training course
Taking part in one of our Professional Development or employee
training courses doesn't mean that you're allowed to use the IOSH
logo.
If you'd like permission to use the logo, please
get in touch so that we can confirm this and instruct you on
how to use the logo correctly. We'll also need to make sure that
the IOSH logo isn't going to be used to imply a broad or generic
association with us.
