Networks and International Member Advisory Panels
In addition to the Networks and
International Committee, we’re looking for members to join some of
the six Member Advisory Panels that will focus on specific
areas.
Read about the roles below, and find out about the purpose
and structure of each panel in the Terms of reference
documents.
Group reviews panel
Use your experience of performance management and reviews to
mentor your peers. You’ll be providing independent member
leadership for regular reviews of groups, and helping specific
groups to reflect on their own performance and plans.
Major projects panel
Your experience in project management, especially for large
projects involving different stakeholders, will help you mentor
branches and groups in their planning of major projects.
Online member engagement panel
If you’ve got significant experience with information and
communications technology, you could contribute to our online
member-engagement advisory panel. You’ll be mentoring your peers
and sharing ideas and good practice on the best ways for branches,
groups, districts and sections to use technology to enhance
support, services and activities for their members. You’ll also
help identify ideas, good practice and new developments from the
wider business community, which can be adapted by IOSH to add value
for network members.
Conciliation/mediation panel
If branches or districts disagree with each other, or a dispute
arises, we need experienced mediators to give input and a
mediation/conciliation service, as well as to ensure that the
relevant codes of conduct and IOSH processes are being
followed.
I'm interested in one of these roles. What do I need to
do?
Email us to let us know you're interested. Remember to tell us
your IOSH membership number in the email, and which role you
want to apply for. We'll then send you some more information
and an application pack.
