Universities

Our aim is to make sure our members and others with an interest in health and safety have access to high quality research and knowledge so that they can increase their understanding and improve health and safety practice in the workplace. We're committed to evidence-based practice.

We work with universities that offer degree and master's level programmes in occupational safety and health by accrediting their programmes for IOSH membership.

Universities that want to be considered for IOSH accreditation need to fulfill the conditions laid out in our document 'Higher level qualification accreditation'.

We also work closely with universities through our research and development fund activities, aimed at establishing evidence for health and safety policies and practices.
