Bond Solon, the UK's leading legal training consultancy, who are
providing the training for this event have requested all delegates
come to the session dressed as if they are going to Court.
This will provide an authentic environment for the delegates who
wish to volunteer to take part in the role-play sessions where they

What you will learn
You will learn:
- how the adversarial system works
- the procedures, order of events and roles of those in the
adversarial system
- what's involved in taking the oath/affirmation
- the techniques used in cross-examination and how to handle
them
- how to give clear, honest and objective evidence
- how to make appropriate use of supporting evidence, documents
and notes
- how to give confident and clear testimony under
cross-examination
- how to prepare for giving evidence.
The day will be practical - some 'willing' volunteers will
experience being cross-exmined. You'll find out how to give
confident and clear testimony and learn the techniques lawyers use
to disconcert and discredit witnesses, so that you can handle them
self-assuredly.
This training will benefit those giving factual evidence or
acting as an expert witness.
