Welcome to the IOSH East Midlands Branch.
Welcome to the web page of the East Midlands Branch of
IOSH, recently renamed from the Trent Valley Branch to give a
greater sense of geographical belonging to both new and existing
members.
Monthly Branch meetings are held at the National
Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepoint, Nottingham throughout the
year providing members, visitors and guests with opportunities to
improve or fine tune their skills and knowledge on a range of
topical issues in health & safety and any other associated
subjects of interest. The meetings also provide an opportunity for
discussion and networking with other professionals in the same
industry. Over and above these meetings are other bespoke training
and workshop events held on topics selected following membership
consultation.
We have an active and enthusiastic Executive Committee
of volunteer’s working hard to benefit our members and to provide
the best development opportunities. Assistance is always on hand
whether mentoring is required or to assist with CPD and IPD, even
just give friendly advice.
As members, it is your Branch and there are
opportunities to get involved by joining the Committee of even just
volunteer your assistance from time to time as we strive to
continually improve our Branch activities and raise standards in
health & safety.
