Roger Midson Challenge Trophy

Roger Midson was a past chairman of our branch who died in 1992. In order to keep alive his memory and the work he carried out for the branch, a competition is organised to be played among members annually.

The winner of the competition has their name engraved on the silver rose bowl, which is retained for one year, and in turn, chooses and organises the competition for the next year.

Over the years the competition has included: golf; karting; ten pin bowling; archery and indoor bowls. The competition is open to all Edinburgh branch members and their immediate family.

The challenge for 2012 has been set.

You can view the available photos of previous Roger Midson Trophy events including quiach presentation to the winners.

The Secretary's Sipper

The Secretarys Sipper is a fun day out, usually held in July each year, and played for over one round of golf in a stapleford competition at a golf course of the choice of the winner of the previous year. It is open to all Edinburgh Branch members and the winner holds the sipper for one year and receives a miniature quiach as a keepsake.

Would you like to play in the Secretary's Sipper 2012 competition?

You can view the available photos of previous Secretary's Sipper events, events including quiach presentation to the winners.
