AGM and Health and Safety Law Update
Overview
The Branch's Annual General Meeting will be followed by a health
and safety law update.
The event will be held at Writtle College, Chelmsford on
6 April 2011 from 2pm until 5 pm, where a light
lunch will be provided from 1pm onwards.

What's in it for me
The AGM is your chance to ask questions of the Branch Committee,
suggest topics for future meetings or to become more involved by
standing for election to the Committee.
The session will provide a health and safety law update
The session will be structured to learn a little about:
- Update on recent case law and the impact on
the safety profession
- Update on Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order
- recent fines
- Update on the Coalition Government and its views

Who should attend?
Members of the Essex Branch and anyone who wants to update their
knowledge of the current legal landscape.
Speakers
Subash Ludhra,
Managing Director Anntara Management Ltd/IOSH
President Elect.
Subash is a qualified Occupational Hygienist, now specializing
in the subject of Risk Management and Loss Control. He has a wealth
of experience gained from industry and commerce, both in the UK and
overseas.
Having started his career in local authority he moved into the
Brewing industry and spent three years working for Grand
Metropolitan and Courage. He spent a further eight years working
for Rentokil Initial, the last two as a board Director within
Initial Catering Services.
In 2002 Subash Established Anntara Management Ltd, a Risk
management and Loss control consultancy and has since provided
services to several blue chip companies (both in the UK and
overseas) as well as many SMEs.
Subash is a chartered safety and health practitioner and
experienced trainer and has a unique ability captivate his
audiences. He is a contributor to several health and safety
publications and has been involved with the production of several
Health and Safety documents for Trade Associations and the Health
and Safety Executive.
Subash prides himself on providing clients
with practical cost effective solutions to their problems, relating
to any aspect of risk or potential loss within their
organisation
