Mentoring programme leading to chartered membership of
IOSH
Overview
Our mentoring programme was first launched in November 2007.
This seminar aims to promote our mentoring programme for the
purpose of recruiting a new batch of mentees (IOSH Graduate
members) who wish to achieve the status of chartered membership
through the guidance of our mentors.
The seminar consists of five parts:
Part 1 (19:00-19:15): Mr W L Cheung will cover introduction and
background information of the mentoring programme
Part 2 (19:15-19:30): Mr C S Chan will talk about the Initial
Professional Development (IPD) scheme for which every Graduate
member needs to complete for the purpose of chartered
membership.
Part 3 (19:30-19:45): Mr Bosco Chan will demonstrate an on-line
Continued Professional Development (CPD) interface which is the
only means for updating IOSH CPD records.
Part 4 (19:45-20:15): Mr Gallerie Leung, a successful mentee
under our mentoring programme, will share his successful experience
with us on how he achieved his chartered membership through the IPD
scheme and the professional interview.
Part 5 (20:15-20:30): There will be a 15 minute Q&A session
and discussion at the conclusion of the seminar.
