Contents:

Participants can take this opportunity to learn the operations of one of the largest motor vehicle services in Hong Kong. The operations range from new car delivery, routine repair and maintenance to statutory vehicle examination.

The visit covers the areas of car body repair workshop and maintenance and repair workshop and a Hong Kong Government designated vehicle emission test will be demonstrated in the visit.

In addition to the introduction of daily operations, the visit will emphasize on the in-depth understanding of occupational safety features in the Centre, by ways of practical demonstrations, presentations and discussions with representatives of DCH.

2 hours CPD Certificate will be issued to participants who have completed the entire duration of the visit.

Please note:
1. Shuttle bus of DCH is available for picking up service at the Telford Plaza Phase II. The travel time from Telford Plaza to DCH building is about 5 minutes.

2. No parking space will be reserved.

3. This technical visit is not covered by the insurance policy taken out by IOSH (HK). Participants may consider taking out their own insurance policies for the visit where necessary.

4. To maximize the across-the-board benefit of our members, we will only accept registrations who have NOT participated in the previous same visits on 12 Dec. 2008 and 18 Sept. 2009.

5. If tropical cyclone warning signal No. 3 or higher, or Red / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is still in force at 8:00 a.m. on the date of visit, the visit will be cancelled.
