Contractor management

Overview

The Ireland Branch Healthcare section would like to invite you to join them for their meeting on contractor management.

The theme will be tools for managing contractors, specifically looking at ways you use to control contractors, or opportunities to learn how others do.

Starting at 09:30 there will be a presentation by Barry Mulligan of ADI Ireland regarding a contractor control IT system they operate, followed by a presentation from Gareth Davies, of HSE Estates, concerning contractor management.

You will have an opportunity for questions and answers and an open discussion regarding processes currently used to manage contractors in our organisations.

This will be discussed within the context of our requirements under the legislation and compliance with HSA guidelines.

The focus will be on service and building contractors, not just building contractors, so it is something we all need to ensure compliance with.

Mid-morning refreshments will be served.

What you need to know

Non-IOSH Members are welcome to attend but are requested to pay a €10 fee. This must be paid on the day. No invoices will be issued.

The hotel is on the Luas Red Line: the nearest stops to the hotel is either Heuston Station or the National Museum at Collins Barracks.

The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Heuston Station and Collins Barracks.

Off-street parking is available on Parkgate Street, and there is an underground hotel car-park.
