Indoor Air Exposure in Irish Buildings and the Law
Overview
The IOSH Ireland Branch Eastern District are holding a free
evening seminar on Indoor Air Quality in Ireland.
The health friendly air division of the airmid health group
would like to share their Irish Building survey findings with IOSH
Ireland Eastern District Members.
What's in it for me
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that greater
than one building in four has indoor air quality problems. The US
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has estimated that indoor air
is on average up to two to five times, and on occasion up to one
hundred times, more polluted than outdoor air and we spend 90% of
our time indoors. But what about exposures within Irish
Buildings? Come along to find out about recent Irish Building
Survey findings.
Who should attend?
This seminar will be of interest to any Health & Safety
Practitioner, anyone who is providing a safe place of
work, those who are involved in building maintenance or
maintaining a level of indoor air quality.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and network
afterwards at the venue.

Catriona O Donovan, Occupational Health Advisor

Health Group.
