Central Lancashire District Meeting –

The Central Lancashire District last met on 26 April 2010 at the
Optima Training Centre in Leyland. The meeting started with a
presentation from Elaine Knox, a member who recently won a ticket
to the IOSH 10 Conference in Glasgow.
Elaine gave an overview of her experience at the conference and
key learning points. This followed with an introductory
presentation from Nina Price at IOSH, the Branch Networks Officer,
on her role and the added support available within the Networks
Department.
The meeting then came on to the main presentation on Global
Harmonised Systems from Dr Stuart Longworth.
