Update from the 2010 North Wales Branch AGM

The North Wales Branch welcomed IOSH
President, John Holden, to address members and attend the annual
AGM on 15 April 2010 at Llandrillio College. John gave a
presentation focused on the depth of work carried out by IOSH and
explained the importance of the IOSH Manifesto. He highlighted how
the IOSH voice is heard through lobbying ministers and having a
presence at all the political party conferences. John also called
attention the large amount of free information available from IOSH
in hard copy and on the website.

Re-elected Chair, Sandy Jennings, discussed in
detail the branch strategy for the coming year. IOSH Networks
Officer, Nathalie
Muller, updated the members on how the newly re-structured
Networks and International Directorate is able to offer much
greater support to branches. Nathalie will be the liaison between
this branch and headquarters as well as facilitate the committee to
achieve their targets.
