Our aims
The South Coast Branch aims to support IOSH
in promoting best practice and continual improvement in
occupational safety and health, and to encourage sensible safety
and health management and promote the ethos that good health and
safety is good for business.
Objectives
- To manage the branch in accordance with the IOSH Corporate
Manual and maintain the good name of IOSH.
- To promote the IOSH Strategy 2006–2010.
- To promote Continuing Professional Development for occupational
safety and health professionals.
- To provide opportunities for members to network and share
relevant experiences while encouraging them to advocate sensible
risk management, continual improvement and best practice.
The branch committee will provide guidance and support to all
grades of membership to achieve Chartered status. Our
Branch Education and Development Adviser (BEDA) runs a mentoring
programme that can be tailored to suit your particular needs.
