The Healthcare & Public Service
Section is here to meet the professional development needs of
our members working in public and independent healthcare,
including primary care, acute services, mental health, ambulance
services, social services and learning disabilities services.
Healthcare & Public services consume vast amounts of money,
accounting for between 6.5 and 14 per cent of gross domestic
product in the developed world. Therefore, healthcare and public
services deserve the very best health and safety expertise.
Every year, we organise at least four events in our
area and choose topics that are identified as areas of
interest through the feedback we receive from members.
We also welcome your feedback and suggestions for future
