Initial Professional Development and mentoring
We believe one of our key duties is to
encourage and help members to develop their career prospects by
achieving Chartered membership of IOSH.
A principal function of the Branch Education and Development
Adviser (BEDA) and mentors is to help members with this.
They particularly concentrate on helping new Graduate Members
through the Initial Professional Development (IPD) process to
achieve Chartered status.
Depending on the route used to achieve Graduate membership, this
can include advice on preparing:
- professional portfolios
- for the open book examination
- for peer review interviews
The names of the branch BEDA and mentors are listed on the
committee page.
