Environment Agency (EA)
The Environment Agency is an executive non-departmental public body responsible to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and an Assembly Sponsored Public Body responsible to the National Assembly for Wales.

The Environment Agency’s principal aims are to protect and improve the environment, and to promote sustainable development. They play a central role in delivering the environmental priorities of central government and the Welsh Assembly Government through our functions and roles.

Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
The HSE's work covers a varied range of activities from shaping and reviewing regulations, producing research and statistics and enforcing the law.

This is a link to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website page which lists organisations which provide information and advice on occupational health and safety and related areas. Links are provided to organisations' own websites where these have been identified.

Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is Scotland’s environmental regulator. Their main role is to protect and improve the environment.

Yorkshire Chemical Focus
Yorkshire Chemical Focus Limited, (YCF) is a not-for-profit company funded by the regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward, and industry members to provide an independent voice for chemical and related businesses in Yorkshire.
