Michael O Riordan
Electrician, Cork Airport

Mick O'Riodan MSc Occ Health Dip, SHAWW,
Grad IOSH is employed as an electrician at Cork Airport and has
worked for the DAA for five years. In addition, to his work as an
electrician Mick is the Safety Rep for the airport
electricians.
Previously Mick worked in the Cork University Hospital where he
took an interest in H&S and took the decision to further his
education with a Masters Degree is Occupational Health.
Mick is an active member of the Southern District of IOSH
Ireland and is their web champion and a designated mentor.
An area of interest for Mick is baggage handling, as he believes
the working practices in baggage handling can be improved.
