Committee Vacancy

‘The IOSH Education group invites you to contact them if you would like to be considered for the Committee vacancies outlined below. Group activities and projects depend on the continuity of a Committee made up of members such as yourself who volunteer their time and skill set. As an IOSH committee member you will have access to network, meet and contribute to raising the profile of Health and Safety. 

If you come from an Education background especially Primary, Special Educational Needs, Colleges and Academies and are interested in joining the committee please submit a short statement as to what you could bring to the group to Joanne Lewis (chair of the group) and Dave Garioch (Vice chair of the group).

The role requires attendance at approximately four committee meetings at IOSH headquarters every year, attendance at two events and work on projects and activities as decided by the group. The roles we are currently advertising for are:

Secretary: Co-ordinates the administration of the group, maintains all relevant documentation, records and correspondence, takes minutes and communicates effectively with Committee as first point of contact.
