Revised risk assessment guidance
The Health and Safety Executive has
revised their successful guidance, 5 steps to risk
assessment. IOSH members were involved in this major rewrite,
most notably Lawrence Waterman, past IOSH President. Lawrence has
urged all IOSH members to take a look.
Food, Drink and Hospitality
The Food, Drink and Hospitality
Specialist Group agrees that the new document is a big improvement
on the old version. It will be a useful tool for both practising
health and safety practitioners and small
businesses in their quest to control
risk.
