From 7 November 2010 there is significant change to the DVLA
procedure in relation to the surrendering of driver licences for
endorsements.
"There are very real risks for employers, that employees don’t
comply with new timescales with the risk that they are in breach of
insurance policy wordings and hence driving uninsured."
