Welcome

The IOSH Hazardous Industries Group represents nearly 1,000 members working to maintain low-risk conditions in situtations where major hazards are part of the daily routine.

We cover a range of sectors including petrochemical, nuclear, gas, energy production and distribution, and explosive industries. Our current work includes:

• developing Aiming for Excellence, an informal site auditing and benchmarking scheme for members
• teaming up with engineering firm ABB to offer 'lunch and learn' networking opportunities across the UK
• using a peer review programme to spread learning and good practice across the industry.
