Strategy
We exist to address the increasing
globalisation of health and safety issues. We're committed to
reflecting and monitoring the rapid changes in international health
and safety and communicating them to our members.
We aim to:
- raise the international profile of IOSH
- develop services for health and safety practitioners
internationally
- make sure that significant global developments are reviewed and
communicated to our membership.
Our key member service is providing access to information, tools
and contacts for specific countries. We hope to use this to build a
more dynamic system of support for members interested in or working
in health and safety sectors that are new to them, throughout the
world. This central database will include:
- legislative requirements in different countries
- key international health and safety organisations
- enforcement standards and practices
- cultural aspects
- sources of advice
- country-specific contact listings.
