About consultations
Our consultation process seeks to ensure that:
- our members have a voice in the changes that most affect
them
- legislators benefit from our members knowledge and
experience
- policy or legislative changes are more effective and
accepted.
The aim of our consultation process is to present policymakers with
IOSH members' opinions about the things that most affect them. To
do this we respond to a wide range of documents issued by a variety
of organisations. The documents range from policy discussions,
proposals for regulatory changes to newly developed technical
standards.
We're interested in the opinions, experience and innovative
ideas our members can bring to the consultation process and
encourage all our members to put their views forward. To see how
the consultation process works in more detail, have a look
at our flowchart.
