Luise Vassie
Current position: IOSH Head of Research and
Technical Services
Qualifications: BSc, PhD, PGCE (Further
Education), MInstP, CFIOSH, EurOSHM
Experience: For 14 years, Luise worked in
academia carrying out research and consultancy and delivering
postgraduate teaching and training in health and safety management.
She frequently worked with organisations on a range of health and
safety issues aimed at facilitating continuous improvement in
occupational safety and health management. Currently, Luise has
responsibility for overseeing and supporting our research
activities and technical services.
Research interests:
- worker and management engagement in occupational safety and
health
- development of evidence-based interventions
- effectiveness of training and education to develop occupational
safety and health competence and its impact on performance.
