Simon Palmer
Current position: Director of Resources and
Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Leicestershire
Chamber of Commerce
Experience: Simon's role include IT management,
building management, health and safety, legal and landlord
responsibilities. He has many years experience in technical
support both as a helpdesk technician and over the last few years
as an IT Manager. Simon has specialised in the support of Novell,
Microsoft, and Citrix environments.
Simon is an Independent Trustee of IOSH.
Interests:
- ICT security
- development of remote working technologies for both voice and
data systems
- call centre hardware, software and operational procedures.
