Intersec 2009 update

Head office staff and local branch members worked together to ensure that our presence at the Intersec 2009 show was a success, despite the financial crisis hitting the Emirate built upon credit.

Over 20 speakers spoke at the two day IOSH Middle East conference, which attracted over 80 delegates from around the world and bought together key stakeholders.  

The IOSH exhibition stand was equally busy with over 150 qualified visits over the three days and many more in passing.

The Middle East branch continues to grow at a rapid pace, and raising our profile at events such as Intersec is important to our growth in the region.  In January 2007 we had 199 members in the Middle East branch.  In March 2009 we have 600.
