Middle East Branch AGM

The second IOSH Middle East Branch AGM took
place on 01 May 2008 in Abu Dhabi, and was attended by more than 80
members and guests from around the region.
The AGM was introduced by Abdul Munim Al Kindi, General Manager
of ADCO who kindly provided the Middle East Branch with a venue and
lunch for the day. Ray Hurst, President of IOSH also gave an
introductory presentation highlighting the importance that IOSH
places on international development.
The event enjoyed a number of presentations from speakers
representing various industries around the Emirates, including:
Ahmed Al Menhali, Chairman, IOSH Middle East Branch; Saleh Almeri,
HSE Systems and Procedures Manager, ADCO; Phil James, Head of
Safety, Health and Environment, EC Harris; Emlyn Jones, HSE
Implementation Manager, DHL and Andrew Broderick, Health, Safety
and Environment Team Leader, ALDAR.
The event closed with the election of the branch committee,
which saw many new faces joining the Middle East Branch
