OSH person of the year award 2009
Friday, 27 March 2009
The Ireland Branch of the Institution of
Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) would like to honour
outstanding contributions by individuals to occupational safety and
health (OSH) in Ireland. To this end, we're setting up an OSH
Person of the Year Award.
Each year, we'll invite members of the IOSH Ireland Branch to
nominate for the award anyone who's a made a major contribution to
OSH in Ireland over the previous year. We'll normally make the
award to one person, but we may consider a joint award. The
recipient will be chosen from the members' nominations by the chair
of the Ireland Branch Executive Committee. The decision will be
based on the quality of the nominee's work, not the number of
nominations they receive.
The award will be presented at an IOSH Ireland Branch
ceremony.
Please download the attached announcement for full details and a
nominations form.
