Would you like to get more involved in your Group?
There are many different ways for you to volunteer your time and
skills:
- Committee vacancies – all vacancies in groups
committees will be advertised on the Group
news page, so check it regularly.
- Attend an event – attending your group's
events is a good way to meet committee members and find out how you
can be part of organising future events. All upcoming events will
be listed on the events calendar.
- Consultative documents – if you'd like to
comment on consultative documents related to your Group, you can
put your name forward to be included on the circulation list by
contacting your Group's co-ordinator. Find out more about our consultation process and
view the latest live documents.
- Advisory panels – some Groups have created
advisory panels or expert databases, where members with skills in
key areas can share and exchange knowledge and best practice. If
you have skills or specialist knowledge that you'd like to share,
then contact the Groups team
for more information.
- Mentoring – you can help members develop their
knowledge and skills by volunteering to become a trained mentor.
