of Connect.

national media campaign.
We’re looking for your stories. Do you have an example from your
day-to-day work that saw a positive outcome to a health and safety

In this issue of Connect, we have the second of a two–part
series on DSEAR that looks in more detail at risk assessment,
control measures and training.
To coincide with the summer school holidays, Connect looks
at school trips and how they’ve been surrounded by a growing
culture of anxiety about safety. However, few would deny that
learning outside the classroom is crucially important to a sound
education for children.
