Connect: Election Special
06 April 2010
With the General Election called for
Thursday 6 May, the Connect team are working on a special
election issue that will go out on Monday 19 April.
Connect has spoken to all the major political parties –
Labour, Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Scottish National Party,
Plaid Cymru, Democratic Unionists and Sinn Féin – to ask them about
their views on health and safety legislation ahead of the General
Election.
We chose the questions based on suggestions from our readers,
and we’ll be publishing the party responses in a feature article as
part of the special issue.
We’ll also be holding a reader poll to find out who you think
health and safety professionals should be supporting on 6 May.
This promises to be the most hotly-contested General Election in
recent years, and Connect readers can make their opinions
heard by voting in the poll and discussing the issues in our
forums.
