IOSH 10 makes conference history
15 March 2010
For the first time in conference history
members will be able to watch and take part in live sessions over
the internet.
Two of our most popular sessions from the IOSH 10 conference
will be streamed live, meaning that members who can’t make it to
Glasgow in person will still have the chance to feel part of the
conference experience.
Both sessions will be chaired by news broadcaster Gavin Esler
who’ll be fielding questions to a panel of experts. Those watching
the live stream over the internet will also have the opportunity to
put their questions forward.
The first session, on Wednesday 24 March, is called ‘Disaster!
Sharing industry lessons from large-scale accidents’ where a panel
of experts, including Professor Richard Taylor from the University
of Bristol, will look at issues such as how we can improve our
defence against such events.
The second session, on Thursday 25 March, will be an opportunity
to put legal questions to a panel of lawyers, including Kevin
Bridges from Pinsent Masons LLP and Steffan Groch, head of
regulatory law at DWP LLP.
Both sessions will also be screened live in the exhibition hall
meaning those only attending the exhibition will be able to watch
both conference sessions.
If you want to join the discussions live over the internet,
register free on the IOSH 10 conference website.
