Mary's our winner
10 February 2010
Mary Darlington has been named winner of the IOSH online survey
prize draw.

The Chartered Fellow, from Enniscrone, in
County Sligo, Ireland, won a ticket to the IOSH 2011 conference in London, from 15-16
March, after completing the questionnaire on our online
services.
Mary, who runs a consultancy, said she was “absolutely thrilled
and surprised” after receiving the phone call.
She is a fan of IOSH’s annual flagship event,
saying: “You go to conference to listen to the speakers, but the
other equally important thing is the networking.
“Sometimes it’s as important to talk to
someone at lunch as it is to listen to a speaker. I deliberately
sit with people I have never met before. You inevitably pick up
some gems of wisdom or a new contact.”
Bookings are currently ahead of previous years for IOSH 2011
conference and exhibition Health and Safety: Rising to the
Challenge, which is promising delegates a bumper two days of top
speakers, interactive workshops, exhibits and extensive
networking.
IOSH events manager Colette Walley said: “I
think Mary will have a fantastic time. We’re confident that this
year’s conference and exhibition will be the best ever.
“And Mary’s right. It’s a great chance to
network and meet fellow health and safety professionals.”
