IOSH publishes free research reports
26 March 2010
IOSH has published three new research
reports that are now free to download.
The first report document, called Factors affecting the
supervision of safety, was an independent study IOSH
commissioned from the University of Liverpool which looked to
identify what factors affect construction supervisors in their
safety leadership behaviours.
The second report, called Measuring heat stress in
industry, was commissioned from the Institute of Occupational
Medicine and looks at techniques for measuring core body
temperature. This will be of particular interest to those working
in industries such as glassmaking, metal refining and baking.
The third, How supply chains influence health and safety at
work commissioned from Cardiff and Oxford Brookes
Universities, carries out a review of international research
literature on supply chain management and the nature and extent of
its influence on health and safety.
