Ray Hurst - live on a TV screen near you!
13 October 2009
Look out for a familiar face on your television screens tomorrow
morning – IOSH immediate past president Ray Hurst will be sat on
the sofa of the GMTV studio.
Ray will be laying to rest some of the typical ‘health and
safety myths’ often reported in the media, and will be talking with
GMTV presenters John Stapleton and Penny Smith at 6.50am about the
need for sensible, balanced decision-making when it comes to health
and safety and risk management.
He’ll be making a second appearance on the show at 8.10am, where
he’ll highlight an MPs versus Press Conker Challenge, which IOSH
and a team from the World Conker Championships have been involved
in organising in the Victoria Tower Gardens, Westminster (next to
the House of Lords) on Wednesday afternoon.
Tune into ITV from 6am on Wednesday 14 October to see how he
does.
